Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM) 2025 in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada.

IFEM plays a pivotal role in advancing the field of Emergency Medicine on a global scale. Our vision is to promote access to quality emergency medical care for all people and to enhance the practice of Emergency Medicine worldwide. We achieve this by fostering international collaboration, providing educational opportunities, supporting research, and advocating for policies that improve emergency care. Through our network of member organizations, we work tirelessly to support healthcare professionals and institutions in their efforts to deliver the highest standards of emergency medical care.

Personally, this conference holds a special place in my heart. I am a proud graduate of the McGill University Emergency Medicine Residency Program, class of 2007. Returning to Montreal for this prestigious event feels like coming home, and I am excited to reconnect with the community that shaped my career.

I encourage everyone to attend ICEM 2025 to take full advantage of the rich scientific program. The local organizing committee has worked diligently to ensure that the conference will provide valuable insights, innovative research, and practical knowledge that will benefit all attendees. We are excited to invite you to join us for the 24th International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM 2025), taking place in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Montréal, Canada from May 23-28, 2025.
